White Disco V8 on Trade Me
Did any one see or know the details of the chap that was selling a white coloured twin locker Disco 1 with some WOF related rust issues on Trade Me about 4 weeks ago? Was listed as being in the Ngawarhia area and it didn't sell and hasn't been resisted again.
Was hoping some one local will know him. Any ideas? PM me please.

yea agreed, seems facebook is where it is at, which is stupid as nothing is archived etc

Re: White Disco V8 on Trade Me
Thanks guys, after years of wishing I got brave. Maybe shouldn't have taken to the grinder while having a bad case of flu cause it took some "smoothing" over with the grinder to make it match again haha. Whew it wa as bit of a job on my own and never having done panel work but it's clear all and every panel beater is save with my lack of skills. But a bit of sealer here and there and some internal wooden panels I managed to hide some of it haha.
Just need to relocate the electric fuel pump to the outside on the chassis cause the buzzing drives me nuts despite two cotton reel rubber mounts which made a big difference. I love the size, the sound and the looks. AND when I drive over 50 kph it still drives like it should not like my 350 40 Series cruiser I sold last month. Coil springs, windows and 4 seats are great!

My LED addiction continues with interior lighting that allows reading of the fine print in a legal document at 50 kph while negotiating the steep tracks around Whangamomona............haha.

Re: White Disco V8 on Trade Me
The on board air consists of a sanded and NOS blue painted (NOS stickers yet to come) 30 year old LPG bottle from a friend's Father, a Rangie suspension compressor, one way valves/push connectors, screw hoses, twin locker pipes AND a twin truck horn supply to make sure the little Zukies move out the way when I come around the corner................
