Ln106 wandering steering
My ln106 is suffering from some wandering steering have already tried adjusting the drag link what other options are there before going and spending a heap of money
Re: Ln106 wandering steering
king pins, Tie rod ends, draglink ends, leaf spring bushes, u bolts, wheel bearings. front diff torque rod/anti tramp rod, loose wheel nuts.
Play in any of these can potentially affect your steering

Have you checked for play in the J arm?
Re: Ln106 wandering steering
Power steering . there's a screw to adjust the slop in the steering wheel

Re: Ln106 wandering steering
^^^
its on top of the steering box don't wind it up too tight or it'll be like driving down railway tracks its only to take the lash out of the worm drive in the steering box

Re: Ln106 wandering steering
Yep it has a lock nut and a flat screw head, relieve the lock nut and if I remember right it only needs half a turn, turn it enough so there's no slop in your steering. Ie when you move steering wheel side to side while truck is stationary there should be no play before wheels respond
