Prado rear E Locker actuator wanted

Postby Smurf » Sat Jan 16, 2016 7:34 am

On the look out for either a good or a buggered unit. Mine is toast so wanting a good one o replace it.
OR, a stuffed unit to chop up and convert to a cable operation.

Good luck they are pretty rare....
I plan to go air operated when mine packs up.... some info on the net about it.... Mainly for the 80 series and tacoma's in the states.

Was going to try something like this...
http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/toyota-t ... rsion.html
But have the actuator directly drive the shaft... not via rods...

I was looking to use a second hand brake lever or a quad bike hand brake with a lock out to run mine as a cable locker.
I don't have a suitable air source to run an air ram.
