rear shocks for lifted ln130

Postby Attica » Thu Feb 11, 2016 4:29 pm

Hi,
i lifted my 1992 hilux surf with 80 series rear springs an ive got about 3.5" of lift in the rear and about 2 in the front with torsion bars and im needing some new shocks.
Im in a tight budget and am wondering if these will do the trick http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/other-accessories/auction-1030697057.htm

your wanting to put them in the rear or front? 80 series rears fit in the rear, standard 2" lift in surf, 2" lifted 4" lift in surf.

with a 4" lift in rear what you doing about the panhard? have you lifted the brake balancer in the rear? is the brake hose long enough?

I need new shocks for the rear the stock ones keep bottoming out, I'm just wondering if those shocks on that TradeMe link will fit? (http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-par%20...%20697057.htm with my 3.5" lift in the back.

The panhard rod in on the list to do I'm going to weld myself a drop bracket.

I'm sure about the brake hose it seems to be fine there's a bit of slack but i haven't taken it offroad since the lift.

it says they are fronts for a 60 or 70 cruiser. 80 series rears fit, don't know about others.

maybe http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-par ... 451582.htm

someone else might know better.
