ROH Blak Trak

Postby Harveyp » Sun Jul 17, 2016 9:15 am

Hey guys,

Looking at getting a set for my KZN185 Hilux, but unsure what offset I will need, and what tyres seem to be the best. Have had a look at the BF Goodrich A/T's and they seem to be rated really good. Any Help or information is much appreciated.

I've got 2 sets of the ROH wheels for my rig, no worries so far. The local tyre guys reckon they are more than worth the few extra $$ over chinese steel.

Thanks Clint, just had a quote on a set today, what tyres are you using on your Roh wheels? And how do you rate them?

Cheers,
Harvey

I haven't owned a set of AT tyres since I had a Subaru ute about 20 years ago so this info may not be much use but...

For getting silly I've got a set of 36x12.5 R16 Simex Extreme Trekkers. Great offroad but slightly funky handling on tarmac. Town/touring tyres are 35x12.5 R16 Hankook Dynapro RT-03. Only got a couple thousand kms on them but the Hankooks drive really nicely for an MT style, although I did choose them cos they are a fairly close pattern for a mud tyre.

Cheers

Cheers mate,
Ordered some dynamic steel wheels with some cheapish A/T's. Will see how they go

I second the hankooks - best mud tyre for the road for the money. Not so flash offroad but if you're only wanting one set of tyres for all eventualities, they're my go to.
