Biggest tire I can put on 15x7 ?

Postby sirLachlan » Mon Sep 26, 2016 11:22 am

Ln106 plus 50 mm springs . Truck has cert for the 5l plus turbo and seats .

Cert tag says 15x7 coz it had those alloys and roadtires on it

Wayne martin failed it for a wof with 15x8 -20 steelies with 31x10.5s on it .

I thought it looked petfect really but I wont argue
Anyway I still have the alloys so just swap for a wof .

Im considering buying some 32 or 33s on what ever rims suit ( and flares?) and just putting alloys on for wofs

Or can I technically put for ecample 32x11.5 on the 15x7 and still get a wof ?

Thanks

Lvvt fact sheet says biggest for 7 inch rim is 31x10.5s . Or 265 75 15 . So theres no middle ground as far as a compromise I was going to consider .
2 sets of wheels it is

What was the actual WOF failure?
I was failed on "tread outside guards" with x10.5s on 8" rims.

Currently running 33x10.5 on 7" rims, -19, with flares.

Goodrich's 32x11.5s minimum recommended is 8"w, but the 33x10.5 suits 7" So you'll have to look at the manufacturers specs to find something suitable.

I'd find another WOF guy!
I just DIYd some, on advice from members here. I think they're about 30mm outside stock guards.
