My New 70 Series

Postby Rypuppy » Tue Jan 10, 2017 6:17 pm

After moving to Aussie a while back have finally decided to splash out and buy a 70 series. The plan is to set it up as a tourer and start exploring. So far it has got,
Red arc dual battery setup
Warn Winch
ARB Front Bar
Trigpoint Rear Bar
Factory Diff Locks

In the coming months some more money will be thrown at it to get the following,
ARB brush bars and sliders
2-3" Suspension Lift
35" MT's on Steel Rims, rear with -50mm offset to overcome the narrower rear diff.
80 Litre water tank under the canopy
Fit out of canopy (drawers, fridge, stove etc)
A/C Air Compressor

That looks like a lot of fun. There's so many neat 4x4 & camping destinations within easy range of Melbourne too.

Cheers

If it breaks, build it stronger.
If it doesn't break, drive it harder.
