removable camper unit??

I messed around with the removeable idea and then decided the compromises were too great for camping use and modded the chassis to suit. All the interior bits have arrived this week, so the fit out begins!

Ok so here goes. This is my '89 surf with a 1uz under it lid. Has a SAS front with coils etc out of a prado. Air con compressor setup with a 25 litre tank under the floor. Sits on 33's for the road and Simexs for the mud as seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L181v9f9qFM. For a winch bar I took the factory bumber off and filled it with steel work in behind it and have made the winch sit flush to make it a little tidier up front.

The poor ol truck is being replaced with a KZN185 shape surf so Im sure that build will be on here for all to see.

Cheers

cheers mate , yeah I'm fairly happy with it, goes really well, but have just had to put it into Toyota to have front end completely rebuilt, someone has used miss matched second hand parts ( part numbers don't match toyota data base for vehicle) and a few corners have been cut. Any way long story short $$$$$$$$$$$ to put right again.

Someone must have known when he sold it to me I reckon ( NOT MEHRTS )

If I knew about it, I would have bloody told ya!!

Or it wouldn't have left my hands like it.

If you decide you've had enough of it, you can always donate it back to me. Ta.

Yeah I know you would have mate, I'm thinking it got a bit of a thrash between leaving you and getting to me to be honest.
And no ya can't have it back , especially not after I just spent my kids inheritance on fixing it, they won't be able to look after me in my old age now, off to the glue factory it is
