Here's my shiny's progress piks, just lifted it (suspension then body) as my budget would allow and I'm pretty impressed with how cheap it is to get it this far. Will be installing diff breathers this week and hopefully sorting a leaking front pinion seal as well. Although I'm a newb to the sport I think I got bitten pretty quickly, welcome you comments or tips too as I will carry on as funds allow. Cheers Kumara, Auckland based.......

Next time dude bang on my door and say g'day :D !! Last time I parked in that place I backed over an aged honda accord with an entire young family on board (about a month ago). Wife went ballistic at me, and fair call to but no one was hurt and I am extremely careful and slow when backing always conscious of my limited view behind but they backed out of an opposing angle park trying to beat me out apparently. The bloke actually thought he was to blame and wanted to forget it but I knew better and gave him $200 for a new door which put a smile on the wife and left me a little less guilty although I know I got off lightly......must have been frightening for the kids seeing my spare wheel coming in through the window :(

Well with a bigger family now, the gq shorty had to go. So have changed teams and picked this up so I can still get muddy. Pretty much standard except for the deck and wheels. Have a winch for it when I get round to making up a bar.

Another old lux.
Need some new tyres when funds permit. Kicks like a mule with the leaves compared to my old surf, but seems to do the rough stuff well.
