SJ413 transfer case bush

Postby Sausager » Sun Jan 11, 2015 7:08 pm

Hey guys. I can't get the transfer case in my SJ413 into neutral/4 low. I know that the shafts get misaligned because the shifter bush gets worn. Is there anywhere in NZ that I can get a good replacement? Or am I best to go and get something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Transfer-Case-L ... e0&vxp=mtr

Cheers!

Hey mate, I just got one the other day from one of our local mechanic shops its a genuine Suzuki part & it was about 30 bucks. you should be able to get most places to order one, I think the proper term for it is a transfer case sheet bushing.

The oem ones can perish relatively fast due to exposure to oil I guess. There are better aftermarket ones that last longer. Even seen brass replacements. My non oem ones have done a few years now.

Sold him my spare lowrangeoffroad one. Will see how they last, just put my gearbox one in today along with a new bolt. Must be super common, both my gearboxes had snapped bolts just behind the 1st thread, what a mission getting it out lol
