Truck has loads of mods, need gone taking up precious driveway space an i have a new toy now.
Would rather it go too someone that is going too use it off-road, as that's what I've set it up for, thought this would be the place to mention it..

Re: My zuk is up for sale
the autos are much easier on the cv's and front diffs but you can still go through a few if your having fun

C.v.'s maybe, but clearly states in ad it is fitted with the steel front diff so I doubt that will get broken in a hurry...
Re: My zuk is up for sale
yeah if you can find a steel front diff and afford to pay the ransom its money well spent the alloy ones are made of cheese
Re: My zuk is up for sale
oh yea i am justing wanting to buy a zuk myself and was wondering if auto is better or not for off road.?
Re: My zuk is up for sale
If running bigger tyres then I would say yes as there isn't much in the way of lower gearing options for them so the auto will compensate for that.

I find the auto very good off road, especially stop starts on rutted out hill climb's, an playing in soft sand you want to keep moment up. the lower ratio diff's complement the auto trans being that the manual has more gear selection..

In the three year's iv'e used this truck iv'e never broken a CV an have done some challenging track's, Thompson track, most of the harder track's at woodhill the 21 etc, Crunchy track in the far north etc steal diff's are well worth the peace of mind if your serious about hitting the offroad in remote place's i would not look past getting one, yea they ant cheap, but after you brake a few alloy diff's i would of costed you the same in the long run minus the hassle of swapping out the diff's an the biggest trouble of getting out of the track you brake it on..
