When I had my Pajero I had two sets of tyres, both 31 x 10.5 but one set were ATs on alloy rims the others were MT on steel rims.

There was a huge difference in fuel economy with the alloys getting close to twice the mileage of the MT, some of that would have also been where I was driving (long road trips on alloys vs off road on the steels).

It would help if you had written this in proper English or at least did a spell check before hitting submit, you then might get some reasonable replies.
Instead we take a stab in the dark and second guess what you are trying to say, so here goes ...............

Yes, your 31x10.5x15 tyres will increase fuel consumption, especially if they are mud tyres. The over diameter will have increased slight but also width. This creates extra drag and contact requiring more effort to turn the wheels.
Also mud tyres due to the chunky tread pattern also use more fuel as they are not aerodynamic.

I would have thought 10 litres per 100kms is reasonable considering. At the end of the day you have a vehicle the shape of a brick, with larger tyres, your odometer will read short (marginally but enough) so you will use more fuel.
Just driving it off road in low range can increase fuel consumption.

I see ok then what are the standard tyres for this thing or better ones
i dont go offroad alot of unsealed roads would be the most yes there shape does pick UP and hold DUST apart from anything else
and the wind can crab you

Aerodynamics an issue? gravel roads at most? economy at the forefront of your issues?

Get a car.

I've got a 96 KZN185 surf with a set of GT Radial mud tyres (http://www.gtradial.com.au/contentpage.aspx?pageID=57).

With my road tyres I'd get 600km out of a tank of diesel. With the mud tyres I get 550km. Nothing worth getting worked up over.

But for unsealed roads it's a waste of time. You'll just add driving noise and bigger tyre bills for no gain.

and also it will be more aerodynamic if toy putt spinning hubcaps on it but put them on back to front so they go against the wind

kricky mate that there's a job for a automotive engineer with the technical knowledge of a aeronautical 'astrophysics,Kepler's Laws of Planetary Motion and Parallax abnormal. now with this limited knowledge you now only qualified enough to do the wiper blade removal. only if you follow the expert advice from a Selenography Syzygy Seyfert scientific scholar then using the "Kepler's Laws of Planetary Motion" in-conjunction with using the specialist tools involved in Thermocouple Micrometeorites then will the correct wiper blade installation be a success.

so beware it is a far bigger job than one thinks, far bigger, far far bigger indeed

I think you' re being a tad melodramatic... like, sure, but man they offer to do it for ya at SuperCheap, so, like, they aint no like super smart intermediate school graduates or nothing special. I had a older friend called Syzygy, he was a Catholic Priest when I was real young, dont know that he was a scientific scholar though, but he offered to show me things... maybe it was the secret of the Blade he was going to show me. Dunno, the Police came and took him away, but anyway....

Don't forget to ask for the aerodynamic wiper blades, helps with fuel economy

Yes, sorry of course it is... got a bit sidetracked when you mentioned Syzygy.

A high shine cut and polish also cuts down the drag co-efficient hence increasing fuel efficiency, so dont forget the buffer and turtle wax.... Bugger there I go talking about Syzygy again....
