I have a 1993 D21 Terrano with a TD27 and re4r01a auto trans, that has decided to stuff out..still barely runs around town..so time to replace!
I have seen a similar question on this forum and others but haven't seen anything properly that answers my question.
The trans itself is shared around with many of the Nissan models of that era. I know the output shaft casing bolts on the back of the 2wd vehicles can come off... but can the output shaft from the main box to the end of the casing simply come off?? OR do you have get to it from inside the gearbox?
As my idea would be to purchase a 2wd gearbox to swap the transfer box over.
Any help would be appreciated,
