I posted this in the newbies section and thought I would try my luck here
I just bought a 92 SWB Safari and noticed that the rear stabiliser bar has a sort of electric motor thing on one end it also has a bowden cable attached to it that dissapears somewere up front. I can't find any control or switch for it but there is a "stabi off" idiot light on the dash that does not light up. Anybody know what this is??

Re: Stabi Off
Thanks but just got it figured I saw an extra lever and thought it was the hand brake then saw that the handbrake was in a different place. It seems that the thing on the end of the rear stabilizer /anti roll bar or sway bar disconnects that end of the bar so it does not work, the wiring I saw is a sensor to warn you of the disconnection as you will get more body roll. Thanks to cruiser_beast for pointing me in the right direction
