Desert Defenders Winter Woolies 4WD 31 August 2013

One day tour on NZDF land at base of Mt Ruapehu. A safari tour for medium to average experienced drivers in the snow and mud. Access through Karioi Forest to Army land. $100 per truck. In association with the Manawatu 4WD Club. Meals on top. Meals Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday morning if required. (We do a great feed :D ) Free Camp at Karioi Domain. Don't forget its the ski season and the infamous COLD KIWI motorcycle event is happening at the same time! so send your entry form asap and book your accommodation now or if you have the cajones you're welcome to camp of course.
We are limiting to 100 trucks and already have 38 trucks booked.

Maybe a dumb question but whats your vehicle requirements?
Hooks etc?
Trailer queens?
Suitable for shineys?

FYI Cameron
Better than average tyres, shinys are welcome, hooks, fire extinguisher, First Aid kit, Remove your tow ball.
To mark your recovery point with yellow insulation tape – Manawatu 4WD club volunteers will be in charge of recoveries and provide tools for recovery.
For those ordering meals BYO Plates, cutlery, Cup, Thermos for soup and another for Coffee also BYO refreshments for after dinner.

Recommended but not compulsory – Chains (if there is snow you'll need them) PRS Radio, Wet weather clothing, Extra set of warm dry clothes and boots
