Postby skid » Sat Mar 29, 2014 6:44 am

its that time again

2014 Kiwi challenge is happening

the teams have all entered, we are overfull and amping to go

but as per usual we need marshalls

its easy as hell, we run a cruisy relaxed weekend and as a marshall you will be assigned a stage to look after for the weekend

nothing too hard

let me know if you can help out

Its pretty easy, take bribes and give maximum points.....
Nah, its ensuring safety during winching, guiding teams to the start point, and timing the completion of the run, reporting that back to HQ.

Then ya have Image tell Imageand enjoy a Image

Not too stress full really

he has it sort of correct ;-)

Basically you just have to take a team out to your stage or stages if I give you 2 to look after, send them in and when
they have finished you bring them back , tell me how they did and wait for next team to be ready.
2 days are required, marshalls can sleep in the hut, great socialising on sat evening and sunday if you choose to stay an extra night ;-)

No need to time them, no need to police how they operate unless they are being stupid

So I hear a rumour that a team has stolen one of my marshalls

Somebody care to update the list for me so I can stress some more and wonder why teams would jeopardise the event by stealing the volunteers :( :(

Where are all these so called mates that want us to help them out all the time, but when it comes to us needing help they are no where to be found.

We haven't jeopardised the event, we have kept a team in the event so it will still run.

So rather than just adding a new post that says you're in, quote the list then add your name to the bottom, just as Curly has done, then its obvious who is on the list....
Like this, I've added you and Feona at the bottom...
