Show us your Isuzu!!

Postby FORGE1 » Wed Sep 15, 2010 8:39 pm

I dont know if there is a thread already going but I thought I might start one.

Nothing special at the moment but plan is to keep it for a while. New springs this weekend and then see what size tyres I can fit.

If you break it... build it stronger.

Very nice capable looking Isuzu Mark. You should post some info on your setup. I would be interested to hear what you have done.

Here are some pics of my pig. Mostly home built. Rear storage setup, cargo barrier, hayman reece towbar, front and rear towhooks, EGR delete, EGT gauge, 2in OME suspension kit, electric swaybar disconnect, belly pan, AC into onboard air, second battery, LSD, 33in Bighorns, low profile bumpstops, balljoint flip.

Front bar with winch is next then a possibly a front locker.

Can you post a couple of images of your tow hooks?
And your electronic swaybar disconnects?

You can see the rear tow hooks on the towbar. I will take a pic of other front so you can see how they are mounted as its hard to describe.

The sway bar disconnect is on the rear and its a factory option I pulled from a parts truck. Very simple design. The end link is replaced with a splitable rod activated by a spring loaded pin to connect or disconnect the two halves.

Shes a bit rough around the edges, but she does the job.
Needs a bit of a lift, pretty sure the rear has sagged 2".

Just test fittn the new alloys that i got the hankooks fitted to.
