if you can find a lsd definately chuck one in the rear, makes a huge improvement. i have one in the rear and works really well.
Price wise look on trade me. where bouts are you located?
it would be a 3.1 engine?

you dont want to change your gearing just look round trade me or local wreckers for one they are around, mine has one and also got one sitting in garage awaiting its shimming so can get super tight.

You will definitely benefit. I just put a LSD from a 91 rodeo in the back of my 87 bighorn. Even with rubbish tyres on huge difference in traction.
You need to stick with the same ratio as your front, so unless you want to change the front one aswell you better find one with the same ratio.
Try trademe, diffs from the 3.1D bighorns probably fit also, someone should be able to tell you if that is the case.

I have an LSD in the rear and I think it is a great benefit, I would not go in the places I have been with out one, but I will be soon putting in a Air locker in the back.
