Front Tow hook

Postby FORGE1 » Tue Nov 30, 2010 10:02 am

Hi Everyone,

I have used the search function to see if I can find any info to mount a front hook. Cant find anything.

So has anyone got any idea's?

Its for a 1995 Bighorn so from 1992+ (I think) any info would be great I was looking at mounting to the bumper mounts by making a bracket up for each side but if there is a easier way I would be interested to know.

Cheers
Ray

on my old mu i went in thru the chassis rail on the pass side jus before the idler arm, drilled 3 holes right thru chassis rail, got crush tubes and got some flat steel 5mm thick on top and bottom of rail. 2 holes for the hook and a hole for extra support on the flat steel. did the trick was strong and safe
needs more curry
