bighorn rattle intermittent

l have a very loud intermittent rattle coming from the top of the motor somewhere .It is apparent on startup but much worse when driving . will be fine for about 5ks then the motor will rattle for about 5 seconds then the engine light Will come on and it will stop . sometimes the light Will go out again the rattle will startup again then always stop again when the light comes on . l got the numbers 25 and 32 from the computer it has a 4jg2 motor

Try disconnecting the EGR valve vacuum hoses - worked for me. It's two vacuum operated valves mounted on the exhaust manifold. I just pulled the vacuum hoses and plugged them. Others recommend removing the valves and replacing with a blank plate.

yeah did that removed the hole thing and blanked them off ,made no difference
