amazing stuff and with an added extra that with engine breaking it stores up compressed air to either re'accelerate or store and use as a "turbo boost feature"

Those Koennegzeguigggyeigegg (abbreviated to save space :mrgreen: ) guys are clever. Like the little ghost too.

Would be great to see that technology on a big displacement bent 8 Fast reving - no problem with valve bounce - and who wouldnt like the valve profile (fully open or fully closed).

Not new, F1 has been using that for over 10, BMW used it in one of the production models about 2006, I'm sure other have too.

Camless engines are not without their problems though. Common problems include high power consumption, accuracy at high speed, temperature sensitivity, weight and packaging issues, high noise, high cost, and unsafe operation in case of electrical problems.
Camless valve trains have long been investigated by several companies, including Renault, BMW, Fiat, Valeo, General Motors, Ricardo, Lotus Engineering, Ford, Koenigsegg, and Cargine.[1][2][3][4] Some systems are commercially available, although not in production car engines.
Notably, Formula One cars do not use camless valve trains, but pneumatic valve springs together with conventional camshafts and followers instead, this is however primarily due to the regulations teams must follow for engine development.

Just read an article about him and his ACE engine mods. (Eddie's No-cam engine ready to work)

The guy thinks out of the box and is a genius!! He invented the digital valve (it was one of the reasons the opollo13 guys made it home - he is recognised in the Space technology hall of fame)

Imagine a camless, crankless engine that uses hydraulics to take the combustion power running on anything combustible (even ammonia).

The guy is a genius and if half of his ideas take off we could see a new revolution in engine design.
