He's a pretty ace bourbon drinker too

Wicked looking trip! Any more details on where you were or is it hush hush? DOC huts up that way? Cheers for sharing the vid.

No huts up the whistler but the fang hut is able to be hired, give Glenthorne station a call. They don't like non station vehicles on farm tracks........ I got a grilling for using the hut unannounced. We were heading up to the headwaters of the Wilberforce (which had been organized with glenthorne) but the river was unfavorable. Any port in a storm etc etc. Came back from a hard afternoon tripping and stumbling on rocks which david drove in relative comfort to a note on the bbq. I swung the 2hr trip to the house to show face, got told off, paid the hut fee incl another night....... sweet as :D Hopefully we're allowed back :?

Ahh, thought I had seen the hut in the FB pics somewhere. Haven't been up there yet but looked into it a while back:

Unless you had a deck full of his sheep on the way out I'm sure you'll be fine  Most the time farmers just like to know who's around.

Trips like this have been one awesome thing/advantage about the lower river levels this summer that's for sure. I've almost forgotten what wet feet feel like
