right I think I may be considering buying a 94 Cherokee as a daily driver.. just a short term thing but I have a buyer for the van and theres just nothing out there at the mo that suits my needs and close to home...
this will be suitable and means I can go for a hoon offroad untill the Hilux is finished
to sell the van and buy this particular jeep means I will come out with a bit of extra cash too
The jeep has a 50mm lift
new x5 31" ats
snorkel
and is generally bloody tidy
150ks
hood lining not sagging
apart from shite fuel consumption what are the general views on these?
what should I be looking out for?
anyone know what to expect from a full tank?
Have looked at and driven it, pretty happy really, just want to get a comp test then I will decide
what the fcku am I thinking

Doubling of it's value?
Ugly is a state of mind..... and the state of my truck!
Re: what the fcku am I thinking
the van gets 400ks to a tank which is a bit kaka so if its close to that then well im used to it.
just been eading through different threads and seems they are a good buy for the price they go for
Re: what the fcku am I thinking
I have a 96 Cherokee (with the 2wd option) and get about 500k from a tank.., thats a mix of short trips and motorway driving.. just watch the right foot...

Have run a Cherokee for the past 3 years. During this time it has had an averaged fuel economy of 15.6 litres per 100km’s (approx 19 mpg). No factoring has been taken for the larger diameter tyres 31x10.50x15. Prior to fitting the 31's had been averaging 12.6 litres per 100km’s (approx 22.5 mpg) so the tyres affected the overall results but mostly due to incorrect speedometer readings. Still considered the consumption reasonably good as at no point had the goal been to seek the best fuel economy, but rather use it as intended, to go four-wheeling.
