If it were my truck, I'd attack that with my die grinder to take the head off the bolt and get the cage out of the way, then have a crack at drilling the remains of the threaded part out of the captive nut once you have more room. You might find the heat created by drilling frees the thread up and it just winds out with the drill bit in it

Suzukis have similar bolts holding their doors on I have found that using a hammer and cold chisel to make a groove on the side of the head and then lean the chisel to give a rotational effect has got them undone every time.

Cut a 1mm slit across the head then use a big flathead bit in your impact driver. If the slit is too wide for the flathead bit give it a couple of twacks with a hammer, this will close the slit up a bit

Cat and Komatsu use these button head bolts a bit in their cabs. I have found that when they seize it is usually just on the head, the thread itself is free as. Like Zukmeista said. Belt the crap out of them with a cold chisel and then put your driver back on, all good.

Failing that, if you have to take the head off it, the thread usually winds out easy as. Good luck.

Bit late but re buggered bolts, we have often debated left hand drills at work. Drill out bolts going up in drill size until the wall is thin and then the drill bit should bite and wind out the bolt. In theory - the only thing stopping me is trying it out is finding the LH drill bits

Grab a branch and "alter" the dent parameters. Or perhaps the wind blew the bonnet up. Technically 'high winds' did lift the bonnet...
