XJ and the family.

Postby Want2Retire » Tue Jun 11, 2013 9:40 am

Hello from sunny Rotorua (well at least today anyway).

I have a 95 XJ and we use it as a family touring vehicle to go camping and on day trips etc. We have a young family that seems to be growing up fast and the XJ is not growing to accommodate. Question is, should be invest more money on the XJ by getting better storage units, better roof rack etc or should we bite the bullet and buy a bigger vehicle? Unfortunately a bigger vehicle will most likely be a jappa and i'm not overly keen on selling the beloved XJ which has helped to lose so much skin off my knuckles trying to loosen the tightest bolts in history. :?

Cheers

You can add storage space, but its difficult to add leg space as kids get older and taller. I always thought XJ rear seat leg space was a bit cramped for tall kids and adults.
