One way to check the strain on the unibody of these vehicles when lifted is to park it on some undulated terrain where both ends are articulating to at least half of their max travel, then get out and try to open and close all doors (including the tailgate). Also check the panel gaps.

If the doors don't open/close cleanly as they normally should then I would personally look into the unibody stiffener idea.

Good work keep it up

Cheers. Yeah will have a go at that probably after I've got a decent steel front and rear bumper, also got a bit of a cage to I want to do on it.

When's the shake down?

Could do a combined one on worsleys with Kaney and maybe my pos (if I get my shit together and jezza gets the fuel tank sorted in time) Weekend after our next holiday in Caterbury.

SORRY FOR THE DOUBLE POST. I still don't like the new look ORE!

Very slowly.
We have been getting the work gear into some sort of order before the new plant arrives and makes all the other stuff look like total wrecks.
Doesn't look like my new fuel tank will be ready for a wee while (hopefully at some stage before xmas), but all the other stuff is nearly done. Just need an SD508 ac compressor so I can make the air a bit more reliable.

Still not mobile. **fingers crossed for this weekend** - Rick's had to get some bits machined up, he's setting it up to run the same drive shaft front and rear which will be awesome!

Here's some even more recent photos. Definitely put a smile on my face. Nearly entered the realm of the Jeeps.

FYI - Iron Rock Offroad RHD track bar, over the knuckle steering etc.. no good on this project. The guys have done a great job setting up new brackets, angles and mounts for steering and trackbar using the WJ knuckle and brake conversion.

I have to say I'm fizzing!

Hey didn't end up using any of it in the end, just bought some hollow bars and had Rick set up the front. Tie rod, drag link and track bar all 100% straight with no bends. (The IRO one wasn't going to work with my WJ d&c conversion)
