Hi Can anyone help me with the best place to mount tow hooks on the front of a JK 2009 Rubicon? Cheers

Whilst it might seem a good idea to try and keep the stock bumper you are better off ditching it for an ARB or similar that is airbag compliant and comes with recovery points. You can try the U.S. spec factory front hooks that come up through the bumper but these are not 10,000lb, only 5000 from memory so may not be accepted by a 4wd club. Our bumpers don't have the depression to clear the hook so any recovery rope will put pressure on the top of the bumper. I had some hooks engineered up bolted down to the chassis but not an ideal solution as too much leverage due to the height off the chassis rails. Here's what I had:

If you are going to be doing regular off roading then just go for the bumper then you will have a platform for lights, winch etc down the track :). Good luck
