Winch stolen

Postby Smurf » Sun Dec 15, 2013 6:04 pm

I parked up at a car park Saturday afternoon and took my 3 year old son on his first short overnight tramp.
Walked out at lunch time today to find My Prado has been broken into and the GPS, Dash cam, MP3 and a few tools have been stolen. Walk around the front of the truck and the complete winch and fairlead are gone also.. They went as far as popping the bonnet and removing the control box and unbolting all the leads from the battery too. They even took the time to find the controller in the glove box.
Made a mess of my grill getting the winch out too.
A#$HOLES!!
They were kind enough to leave me my UHF radio though.
Winch is a 12000 pound Ironman on the very very slight chance anyone hears or sees anything
Not a happy camper as you can appreciate.
So heads up to keep everything safe guys.

I'll be needing a front grill and possibly the two front indicator/side lights. Will be having a better look at it tomorrow. :(

Prado has just been dusted for prints and none found, very obvious signs of areas having been wiped clean.
The officer was surprised by the amount of work required to remove the winch.
:-( oh well...
