I got my Colortune kit today :D :D http://www.carbtune.co.uk/colortune.html

I also removed the brake and clutch master cylinders, as both were leaking.
I will have to be a passenger at the pig farm on Sunday

You have a day and a half to repair... sort it out! I expect the lada to be towing me out of the mud when my clutch finally dies/my 3hp diseasel fails at forward motion!

How about a thread to show how its done for other young man.

Good effort too by the way.

I'll be fiddling with my bubble maker and will bleed the system as often as I can until its clear. Might be close now...lets not jinx it though.

Still have a boost gauge to fit, just got to figure out where to cut and what else I need to do the job...might wait till everything is sorted though. Can still fit the guage so I have digital bling in the cab.

I might do next week. I need to change somethings I am not all that happy about so will take pics and do a write up then. Good idea though.

Hope everything works out for you with your truck, seem to be having a bit of bad luck with it at the mo

due to 3 months non running then heaps of short runs to get it sorted, batteries had no real time to recharge drive it out of garage to tidy place up, no way in hell was any charge left to restart , a jump off the Ute and 40 to get it running again, new batteries and refigure, accessories, more cash to be spent

yea i found it was best to take the boot lid off and sit with ya feet in the boot so you can get on top of the engine. Have swapped an engine from one turbo mr2 to another one. Not something i'd choose to do again.

I tried to write my 1750 word essay, but decided to work on the Lada instead

I sanded.ground back the rust in the right hand side of the engine bay, and put a layer of paint on it just before it got dark.

800 words to go on my essay, and none will be done tomorrow, will be too busy getting muddy at the pig farm

Replaced the LH headlight in the cruiser, after cracking it with a heat gun, and spent most of the rest of the day trying to get 4x4 events running again.

if i am trying to get moisture out of a headlight i put it in the oven with the glass facing down the theory being the whole unit heats up evenly less chance of cracking and with the glass facing down so the hole is at the top makes it easy for the moisture to exit as it rises best done when the other half is out of the house though

Had an awesome day out at the pig farm today, unfortunately only as a passenger but was still a heap of fun.

Its an awesome little spot with plenty of challenges.

Had about 18 trucks turn up so was a good turn out and every1 had a good time.

had a good deed weekend

was heading to Rallywoods for track clearing and saw a wallet in the middle of the road, so pulled over picked it up, did some research, found the owner and delivered it back to him.

then after track clearing was almost over, was looking for some of our clearers and found a Jeep Cherokee buried in the donut hole, so pulled him out with hardly any thanks  as he took off, turns out hes the son in law of one of the shareholders.

then got a call late last night to go rescue a tard from the forest where he had spectacularly busted his steering, so I borrowed Sigs trailer and took it 4wding to go retrieve the dick from where he was stranded, made him sleep the night in the bush first though
