March 2-3

Postby Pooke » Sat Mar 02, 2013 8:32 pm

Spent a good part of the day making supports for a roof top tent for a mates escudo. They came up from Hamilton and were staying in Dargaville. On the way back over to Darg the shaft holding the fan snapped and sent the fan into the radiator.
Towed it from Tangiteroria to Darg with my BMW, went surprisingly well, The Samurai wouldnt have been able to tow the LWB v6 up those hills.

Sold a tractor a couple of weeks ago and the Sheila turned up at 7am to pick it up
She said they were staying in Taupo last night and 'planned to get away early' to come to Feilding to get it but god damn i was expecting 9 or 10 o clock haha.
Lucky it's a glorified Ride-on Lawnmower hah. only just squeeqed on the back of a doublecab shagger ute! (I told them they'd need a 6x4 trailer lolz)

are you not aloud a cold beer in the possesion of firearms? or are we assuming because they were having a beer while in the possesion of firearms they must be irresponsible?

Rule 7: Avoid alcohol or drugs when handling
firearms
When handling a firearm you must be able to think clearly.
Alcohol and some drugs (even if prescribed) dull and
slow your mental and physical reactions.
Alcohol and Firearms do not mix! Ever!
• Alcohol and drugs must never be taken just before you
go shooting or while you are shooting. Wait until your
firearm has been safely locked away before you
consume alcohol or drugs.
• Do not shoot with others who are, or have been, drinking
alcohol or taking drugs.

Well if they are stored away but i dont agree with getting smashed then going for a hunt. Sweetas if you want to have a few beers at the end of a long day.

Fitted new alternator in safari on Sunday finally got her going again after a month of sitting infront of the Garage with the drivers window stuck down.

Just got one of those offroader ones from trademe doing the trick but has a funny whistle noise but I'm not fussed its ALIVE :)
