Re: 4/5 May
Took my A/C out along with alternator adjuster bracket, Modified said bracket to allow it to pivot to fit a larger alternator
Only alternator that could be sourced that would semi fit bonus is its 60amp vs 30amp
Downside i removed my A/C to make it easier to get to may have to of come out anyway due to the alternator being larger.
But makes future replacement of alternator easy and i think i could fit a supercharger there haha

Re: 4/5 May
very productive day on the zooki fixed the hydraulic hand brake, but have improved ideas on the go with that. changed the rear diff oil, moved the spare wheel and fuel tank. changed the fuel pickup to hopefully solve the fuel starving issue. changed gear lever booty to make gear changes easier.fixed cam lock system to work better.
all in all a good day

Intelligence is like a four-wheel drive. It allows you to get stuck in more remote places.

Re: 4/5 May
Road tested Hilux today around streets then a run out to Kawakawa Bay had my bottom heater hose blow was the only old hose left (all others are newish) so luckily it actually blew out in my mates driveway when I popped the hood to check things over and I was looking at it... Ha-ha then yup it goes.... so one trip to supercheap nothing there then over to repco $31 later and new hose installed re filled coolant and re tested no leaks. so then another mate was heading out to Kawakawa bay so I tagged along so I could get a full speed run in... runs really mint just revs a bit to high at 100km/h for my liking so just looking into diff ratios to bring it down but really happy with the conversion thus far.
Re: 4/5 May
Hit up Woodhill for a bit of a solo mission. Wanted to just take it easy and try not to break something for once. Rather than put on the silverstones I tried out the new bighorns in the slick mud. Slidey fun it was!
Inevitably I didn't end up taking it that easy.... But i didnt break anything! Whoop!
Celebrated with a solo beer at hallertau..
Sweet day!
