Made up some gallows to lift off the body from the chassis. And then set about cutting up old chassis.

LROCA had the yearly trials on Sunday out by Waitakere. The rain on Saturday was enough to make the grass wet and difficult for some (me). About 20 trucks took part - Series, Defenders, Disco's, a Rangie and an RRC. The final event was a low-ratio race and the "red-mist" descended for quite a few (me) - stopping was an issue for some us (me)

This was too much for my AT's (and yes it is a long way down!):

Someone who hasn't been involved. Greatest time of my life was Jamborees, and Moot.

Went for a run up the mungis with a few of the boys and found a few new tracks. Did an alternator, creased the door, tore a flare off, broke a CV, bent a tierod and squashed a trailing arm mount. Great day!

took the old mitsi in for a warrent fearing that there would be to many issues to bother spending the money. only issues were shagged brakes (every warrent), right hand wheel bearing, both upper ball joints and the uj on the front drive shaft. isnt going to be overly expensive so ill get the work done and have another 6 months to save up money for a new truck.
