Actually its been this weeks events.
Replaced both rear wheel bearings ,Brian Howat had the pleasure of doing that he inspected diff head and check lokka operation. All good to go
Replaced all drum brake components from doner truck that had new installed before being wrecked.
Was going to do disc conversion, but $600 cert fee was more than the parts, so will wait for more cert-ed stuff and combine costs.
Extended diff breathers also.

Cheers, the rear one comes up between cab and tray(hilux DC ute) and sits just under tie down return for tray.
The front one comes up under steering column and is tied off on the vacuum lines for the brake booster.

Re: 6-th 8th Feb
Ran a thin chain or steel cable up with the breather hose and cable tie the hose to it. The chain will "slice" mud and shit as it feeds over the diff preventing the hose from getting ripped off

Spent Saturday and Sunday driving a 4x4 bus up and down a private MTB park way out the back of Wakefeild for the Dodzy Memorial Enduro. 6 km up and then 6 down pretty step and very rough 50mins return trip certenly keeps you on edge, not a lot of pull off areas and keeping track of the other 2 busses and 3 convoys made for an intresting couple of days. Nocked of on Sunday and then shot down to Greymouth to see my eldest who my moved down there on Saturday to study and bring my wife back home.
Had a great trip home on Monday had Lunch at the Iorn bridge and went for a swim with my other 2 daughters while the wife read her book. Even had to find 4wd to get back onto the road which was a wee bit embarrassing

My boy and I threw the dinghy on the roof of the Prado and shot down through the Rainbow to Lake Tennyson on Friday night, met up with a mate and his kids for a few nights camping.
Tried a spot of fishing on the lake and then headed up Edwards Valley for Saturday night.
Bummed around, had a swim. Gave two tourists trampers a ride from Scotties hut up to the Cow stream hot pools and then took them out to Hanmer.
Scotties hut looks great with the work recently done by Combined. Insulated and solar lighting has made a huge difference to the place.
