Another Newby with a another Terrano

Postby Cambo » Wed Dec 26, 2012 5:16 pm

Cameron here from the Naki, have done bits of 4wding over the years but nothing too serious, have a 91 Td27 Terrano that I have started to do a few mods on, made a 2.5" exhaust from turbo back, with single coby, running 14psi boost (still have to remove that bloody relief valve), also modified a supercheap oil catch can and fitted that. Terry has a TJM supposed winch bar fitted with small spotties and 31" tyres, looking at lifting it shortly and doing bighorn intercooler mod aswell.

Will post photos of Terry and any progress when I can figure it out

Nice wags (same colour as mine 8) )
Dump pipe looks tidy done. You make out of a 2.5" mandrel bend?

Cheers :D Yip 2.5" mandrel bends and heavy wall exhaust tube, got the flange hydro cut from the gasket outline. Stiched an offcut bend ontop for the wastegate gasses so it flows well. Ended up heating the pipe and panelbeating it abit so its easier to get the nuts done up. Was supposed to make a proper spacer up for the nuts but it was getting late so ended up using washers, that was 2 months ago now! still it dosent leak but better finish the job at somestage.
