Wrangler Newbie

Postby frederic26 » Sat Feb 06, 2016 12:45 am

Hi everyone,

Freshly arrived in NZ and even more freshly owner of a wrangler.

I am 42 years old, european but living in APAC for a few years before to arrive in this beautiful country.

Happy to read this forum as I got a ton of questions to get these damn parts to "refresh" that 1997 truck :) and even more to find the 4WD tracks to drive ...

Fred

Welcome Frederic.

Where in this country are you located? (you can add it to your profile). People will be better able to suggest tracks etc if they know where you are.

Hi Fred. Welcome to Enzed.

Looks like you've already found Devils Gate unless I'm mistaken ;-). There's few tracks around Wellington but you'll find a lot more open gates if you're part of a club. Google "Wellington Cross Country Vehicle Club" for a start...

Hi Fred, you will have to join a club or two to enjoy Wellington as many accesses got tightened up

Thanks Guys,

Difficult to hide where I put the wheels of the wrangler.. yep, we are in that area and I will get my club card to find better roads.

Thanks Gyxxx. Does it mean that you need to stick to the club activities or are you also able to re-run the tracks the club has? We have a little girl with us and we usually choose our speed and time frame so hard to stick to club activities even if I will enjoy these a lot.

Thanks, I think I see the one you are speaking about but I am looking for other parts and I can only find these on the US market. I will post another topic about this in order to get valuable feedback.
