Wow its been awhile

Postby Windsurfer0206 » Mon Nov 28, 2016 2:29 am

Hi All

Its been a few years since last on here. well since I sold my old 85 Gold surf Goldmember to Gaza. So I thought I would say "Waz up all."

Im now in the look out for a new project 4x4. Terrano, surf or escudo or really anything road legal good foundation and only a couple k$ in it to start with.

I have the ultimate 4x4 1989 K5 Blazer full custom bars, winch, 4" suspension 3" Bodylift, on 37s ARB, airlocker in rear and LSD up front, v8 and loud as Fark but way to nice to smash in the bush and own with my old man so need something I don't care about as such to go have fun and get back into the wilderness.

Let me know what you guys have.

Also keen to get out and meet the guys here in Auckland and get on some trails with them navigating even wrenching a bit just to get back in the group.

Can join up so overlanding type stuff with current monster but cant take chance of denting her to bad as have way to much money and old man got pissed last time I dented it considering he fronts the bill for this one.

Hey there,

Sounds like a nice truck you have there. quite a few good clubs in auckland that you could join to get a bit more wheel time.
We have a meeting next tuesday in Takanini (South Auck). Good bunch of guys and wide range of trips available every month from easy (no damage) trips to the occasional hardcore winch trips.
Would be keen to see your truck out there.

HI Ant
Thanks for the reply. Cant make next tuesday as am working afternoon eve all next week but would be keen for the next meet up.

No damage runs sound like good options till I can get my hands on something else. Everyone who sees the truck loves it :D . don't think any other ones are done up like it is.
