yeah exactly^ the above full size rig looks to run about 35's
so scaled down to a little courier 31's even 32's might be the size.
also when you look at those rigs there design allows for maybe a third up travel vs two thirds droop.
too much suspension lift will restrict droop and just make it look wrong,
body lift isn't needed it will just ruin the proportion and low centre of gravity.
you can make a seriously cool truck by being conservative with your mods.
also with the money you save on smaller feet no bodylift you can upgrade the shocks and build you pre-runner bars/numberboard roll bar and belly pan.
go see carlos (thesteelsurgeon.co.nz) with a picture of the truck you want at the end, an he'll do your barwork alloy beadlocked rims at a good price
problems are only a problem if you not willing to learn how to find solutions

thanks for the feed back. I am a fabricator so have the barwork sorted. fitted 2"lift blocks last nyt and it does look quite tall now. went for a ride in a 2013 ranger tonite that has my new wheels on it. road noise surprisingly quite! dumbie fitted wheels on my truck, rubs front and rear of front guards so when I get the wheels next week I will cut the rear of the guard off. I will be removing front bumper so it will no longer touch the front. just need to order my monster sized flares before I can fit the wheels on. as for the 3" spindle lift I will see how it looks after tyres are on. as my current tyres measure 29" and new tyres are 35" I will pretty much add 3" to the height. if I decide to go with the extra lift, im sure 250mm added width from 12.5" wide tyres must work in my favour.

wheels are on. running boards are made and on without checkerplate or paint. old flares are off and awaiting larger ones. front bumper is half made but mite take it off and start again. exhaust has been modified and is now out the side. for the haters of this truck I have found the apropiate name for this truck! I believe it is called a mall crawler?
