Unsure about battery acid butbit would be worth trying a product call crl for calcium rust and lime.

Another idea would be milk as its alkaline verse acid but no experience as such

we use sulfuric acid to clean concrete.. diluted accordingly depending on how dirty etc.. it'll lift just about anything but very caustic.. worth a try.. placemakers will have it

Acid in the battery would be sulphuric acid to start. If that is what left stains on the concrete, how are you expecting it to remove the stains by sulphuric acid?

well i think its sulphuric acid.. Its sold to clean concrete and lifts amazing shit off I got a bottle in the garage so will look tomorrow i think but i also think its a lot stronger too..it really depends on the concentration level you need. it is very caustic and does work if used properly

From what Big has mentioned with an acid based product for cleaning concrete I'm thinking your stain is more than likely the opposite. A clean spot on a dirty driveway.

If so your options would be dirty up the spot or clean the rest of the drive.

they were really redish orange marks, and very obvious.
water blasted and scrubbed with degresser and thats half cleaned up the stains, but still there. depends how fussy the agent is on the next flat inspection wether or not i have to go buy something.

water blasted the whole drive way while at it which makes them stand out even more

Reddish orange marks are probably from the rust and corrosion of the metal battery tray. Battery acid by itself would not cause that. When the acid leaked, it took metal with it.

Can you not just park something on top of it on the day of inspection?

Mix up a paste of cement powder and water and scrub it into the stain.
This should help remove the acid and recolour the stain at the same time.
Leave a small layer on top of the area, it will turn white but over time it will fade.

Will be better than red
