Hey, wheres the cheapest place to buy methanol from around auckland? just so i can mix it for my water injection setup

find someone that homebrews spirits they'll be parting it off constantly

I'd be interested in hearing about cert dide of things if for a road going warrior..as I have a kit but not sure on if allowed for road. .

as long as its not using 100% alcohol which would be classed as fuel (need fuel tanks etc) then its fine. 50% alcohol/water won't ignite.

same as LPG fuming, its a catalyst, not a fuel as such :wink:

its not that, its about storage of fuel.
they don't take kindly to plastic container in passenger area with flammable fuel in it.

So 50/50 mix in back tray outside would be ok? Just Iddidn't get a definitive answer from Peter watson regarding it.. :(

u could always just make ur own cot me 45 bucks to make 15l of 80% out of my still and burns a nice blue flame
