Extractors

Postby mac1948 » Sun Jun 02, 2013 2:41 pm

I need to ask why people fit extractors to Suzuki is it to help keep them keep cool or improve performance I have been told that the original manifold is not very good the bend is to extreme is this the case with earlier models or is it still evident with latest models I have a valve guide problem and need to have the head repaired and wonder if fitting extractors is worthwhile

The factory manifolds can collapse internally, creating a restriction which then creates power loss and heat, potentially leading to a cracked head.
Search the forums, plenty of discussions and info on the topic.
