350 chev-bj60 5speed...

Postby stuieR » Tue Aug 13, 2013 7:44 pm

just brought me a bj60 cruser. the standard b series diesel is rinsed so i plan to re-powere it with a 350ci chev v8... wondering if any1 can help me source a 'adaptor' bellhousing for the standard 5 speed? also what clutch-flywheel mods are needed?

depending on your location,
The Steel Surgeon in Manukau is brilliant at this he's been mating stockcar engine/trans combo's together for years.
you'd likely have two choices an adaptor plate or a new proper steel bellhousing.
personally i'd go the bellhousing.
problems are only a problem if you not willing to learn how to find solutions
