Wanganui Exhaust Centre

Postby Rex Calibvr » Sat Jan 31, 2015 6:38 am

Does anyone here know Paul Tulloch personally?
If so could you please help me to get my truck completed.
It has been with him almost two years and I keep getting the run around, I have herd promise after promise and I am yet to see any progress.

Any help would be great.

care to elaborate. Doesn't appear to be the kind of guy that would have your vehicle taking up space for that long, especially with his motor sport interests.

IF you really need it on the road I can give you Dion at fxextreme number in foxton who can do any 4wd related work. but once again more details

Sorry, have been extremely busy at work.

Putting a 3.8 commy engine into my Navara.
Had some issues at the start with the kit he purchased, nothing seemed to fit right. That was march 2012- nov 2012 which I was then told he has it sorted.
Since then he has promised it would be done within a week or so, or has made excuses that something doesn't fit etc etc.

During this time I had been into (what is now the old workshop) and seen the engine/gearbox etc sitting there untouched.

This has gone on and on........ and on!

I have txt msgs going back the whole two years.

All I want is some other people to get into him to get it done, no more b.s.

The truck is still at his old workshop (now the performance division or whatever he calls it) and he tells me the engine is in but he melted some wiring or something, but I have not been able to see the truck. so truth????? I do not know!

It was ment to be ready for the Eides contest just been (as well as a lot of other deadlines in the past two years).

I'm just finding promise after promise really frustrtating...... I WANT MY TRUCK!!!!

And yes I could get others to do it but Paul has all the parts and I'd have to start from fresh, I am happy for Paul to finish it I just want help motivating him...... he is good at what he does but this is bad advertising for him. a lot of people already know and this is not the first time!

A mate of mine had an RX7 in there for a year, simple job should of taken a month max while keeping other jobs moving.

This is just ridiculous and now im rambling........

Thanks

if you cant read the writing on the wall mate go pick your truck up and get someone else to complete it or abandon the whole lot and put the bad experience behind you and go buy a new truck :D

there's usually another side to these stories anyway, good luck getting it all sorted it mate :D

Well i hope you find this helpful, though i can tell you don't want sound advice from people who have experienced similar issues..
PICK UP THE TRUCK! pick up the truck, and all the bits.
If you don't, you will be in the same position in a few months, as you are now.Leopards find it hard to change their spots…

I have considered it. But it means sourcing or making new plates, mounts, drive couplings etc etc etc.
And at this stage it should cost me f all......i really don't know what to do.

I've delt with him for years without issue. .....

But I've been considering it for along time.
Maybe just as viable to buy something already done and cut my losses......

mate call it quits with this bloke.

get ya truck back and take it to somebody else, if you end up pressuring the man all that will happen is he will end up doing a basic job and nobody will be happy at the end of the job.

whats another 6 months after all this

get your bits that you have paid for back and move on
