Keep antifreeze away from pets/animals

Postby Jerry » Sat Jul 26, 2014 10:46 am

Antifreeze is really bad for animals, causes a slow painful death due to kidney failure and dehydration, doesn't help that they are attracted to it as well. Dilute any spilled and keep away from animals

Useless fact about antifreeze - it naturally has a sweet taste but manufacturers use an additive to give it an undesirable taste/smell

Another useless fact about antifreeze - a man on Harley Davidson broke down in the middle of the Nevada desert, got so thirsty he drank the antifreeze  and later became very ill, sued HD and won because they was no clause in the owners manual stating not to consume any part of the motorcycle

I know of a chap that'd add a cup to his rubbish every Friday religiously,
seemed to eliminate the vermin that'd spread it across the street before the truck turned up also on a regular basis.
problems are only a problem if you not willing to learn how to find solutions
