Recovering from the bull bar is bad enough but why loop it round the very outside bar???

Surely they should have had enough sense to loop it around the centre closer to a mounting point?

Vehicle won't be that flash now anyway unless that was all freshwater pouring out of it.

I can understand that there would be some urgency in getting the vehicle out but faark...not knowing Pajero's that well wouldn't there have been a factory recovery hook underneath?

And once again looping the other end over a towball  - admittedly it wasn't a hard snatch. Would have loved to see how the other 4wd got stuck!!!!!!!!

It just goes to show how little the uneducated understand about vehicle recovery.

As soon as he placed the rope on the bulbar I said to the wife, "not there it'll rip it off" and it nearly did!
Ok people, move along. Nothing to see here. Thank you, move along.

Haha saw this. What a joke. Wouldn't have been a "successful" recovery if it snapped and hurt someone!!!

Actually the police officer had nothing to do with the recovery.
As an officer in a patrol car as opposed to 4WD he wouldn't have been training in 4WD techniques.

It was the vehicle owner, a private individual, who got stuck, attached the rope and managed the recovery. Can't blame the police for the errors of his ways.
