offset for terrano

Postby zarnah » Mon Feb 17, 2014 6:33 pm

want to put some 31x10.5r15 MT's on my terrano but have a few questions regarding wheel choice. What would be ideal size rim (width) to use and what offset?
Im looking at putting steel whitespokes on it (and probably painting them black haha) but theres a few different offsets to choose from. would like them to sit a wee bit out from the guards and can make up some flares but nothing to excessive or that wont passs a wof. I went and tried a set of 31x10.5r15 whitespoke rims of unknown offset that a friend has as spares for his hilux ute and although they looked fine on his ute they stuck out the guards on the terrano HEAPS! as in if the suspension compressed at the back they would not fit up inside the guard at all. Some pics would be great if anyone can help?

The stock alloys are 15X7 @ 10p for the d21 and 15 or 16X7 @ about 35p or so for the r50...which one have you got?

if you are going with steelies probably the same as a patrol with 10.5's would bring the tyre's out flush with the edge of the gaurd is a -22 offset.
Waiter...there is a drought in my glass.
