Hi all,
There is a lug on the sidewall of one of my tires that has a crack right where it meets the carcass of the tire, can this be fixed, just paid 800 for the tires and rims, went out to my truck and tire was flat

Its a bf Goodrich mud terrain, one of the early ones, got them second hand, heaps of tread (10mm+) will try a photo in the morning

stick a tube in it. if its cracked on the edge of the lug its been curb jumped or a rock at some stage and damaged the carcass of the tire.

this cracking is most common on tires with big side lugs, that have carried heavy loads AND at under inflated pressures.
