Kawasaki 300 quad stopping...!
Kawasaki 300 quad stopping...!
Hi, I ride a quacker 300 quad. I'll say I don't know much at all about it but enjoy riding it.
At the moment when you turn a sharp left hand turn it just plain cuts out. Just dies It's no problem when you turn right.
Any ideas. Thinking it may be some electrics or something like that.
Thanks for any help...

kill switch wire will have rubbed thru and when you turn it will be touching on the frame killing the engine. as NJ said check all the wires from hand controls, key area and look for bare wires, wrap them(individualy) in insulation tape and you should be good to go.
If you already know everything, DON'T ask bloody questions!!
Ok, thanks everyone for the tips. Dad and I have the front end of the bike stripped down to where we can get to the wires.
We were testing it yesterday and the battery has charge but there's no power getting to the starter or something like that. Really strange because it does not work at ALL now. Even when the bike is straight on.
Going to get back to it sometime but it's not high on the priority list as there is a lull in the work on the farm. Thankfully!:)

Just got the bike back. The problem was in the starter box on the handle. The bike also had a terrible steering column. You'd yank it around and it would sluggishly get going! So that has now been all fixed too. Just have to put all the covers back on and get out and riding. Can't wait for that. I work on a farm and being without our second quad was a real hassle. Especially when the cows are hard enough to get in with two. They just seemed to know we didn't have 2!! Anyway, they won't get away with it next time!
Thanks for all the ideas and help.
