Antarctica

Postby sarmajor » Sun Apr 26, 2009 9:07 pm

I am currently resident at Scott Base on Ross Island in McMurdo Sound.
We have here a selection of Toyotas ranging from 70 series wagons to a 75 series tray back ute and a few Hiluxes.

Life is good and yes it is cold and dark at the moment with a lot of fresh snow.

Cheers

There is no mechanical problem so difficult that it cannot be solved by brute strength and ignorance.

I was here for the Summer working on the Meridian WindFarm project and am doing the winter working on the Scott Base Energy Centre Upgrade projects. New wiring and controls for the generators and new piping and boilers as well.
Beard growing is in trim mode at the moment but you never know.

Cheers

Hedley
