If you want a GPS for off-road you are probably better off with a Garmin unit. There are 3-4 different Topo sets available for Garmin, starting at around $150 which offer great detail including huts, tracks, rivers etc.

Navmans are better suited for onroad, the S Series are on runout at the moment with new models coming soon, S35 isnt listed as avaliable anymore so that must be old stock, you may be better off with a Garmin if you want something for offroad as well...
