Figured that was just one of the lessons we could all learn from this!
I don't go either off-road nor near snow without a shovel as a minimum.

How about towing from the RH rear anchor, there by pulling the car out.

Positioning the tow vehicle more acutely on to the stuck car, thus pulling the car more sideways.

Towing forwards so there is no snow load being applied. Duh...

Oh and Not snatch towing before checking all your connections........ :shock: :oops: :lol: :roll:

I am sure there are more.

not using a tow strap as a snatch strap,
understanding the difference between a tie down and tow point
understanding the structural weakness of a tack welded folded steel tin can. they pulled the tie down point right off the sub-frame :lol:

loved the sound of all the tack welds popping

the main thing they did wrong was forgetting to engage brain.
